I have Microsoft Security Essentials and it runs a quick scan once a week and I guess any hard drives connected to my computer? Should I do a full scan and if so how often? Should I scan all my data drives? Malwarebytes is the same, it scan once a week but it doesn’t show me what drives. I’m going to get Malwarebytes for 3 computers but is it better to buy the disk or just download it?

If you want to keep an actual install cd, then buy the cd. You can do a full scan once every 3 months or so. Usually you only do a full scan if you are having virus/malware issues. In order for Malwarebytes to scan all your drives, you have to click on scan up top, then click on custom and then click on scan and then choose which drives to scan.
