HI, I scanned my Computer using Norton Anti Virus and realised a virus as follows:
Type: Adware.GAIN
File name: Dc297.exe
Furthermore, the windows shut down message appears in Japanese Language. Can I conclude this as my PC being infected?? This message is the one that appears after your PC has completely shut down.
The worst thing is that I could not remove the virus. Any bro can help or advice the following:
1. Is the above virus a malicious one?
2. Any free anti-software that I can use?
3. How to change the shut down message to English.
