OKay, now if I said anything wrong with the comp. terms or w/e sorry...I know a little about computers but not enough I guess so I need help!!!Hey everyone...okay my comp. has had this virus for a few months now...and I don't know much about it but okay here's what I do know...
Anytime I start my comp. Symantec AntiVirus Starts up with this window showing a virus found....it sais:
Scan type: Realtime Protection Scan
Event: Virus Found!
Virus name: Backdoor.Usirf
File: C:\WINNT\system32\dllcache\runbatch.exe
Location: C:\WINNT\system32\dllcache
Computer: MAIN
User: SYSTEM
Action taken: Clean failed : Quarantine failed : Access denied
Date found: Tue Aug 09 23:17:17 2005
So that pops up everytime I start my comp. and the windows wont stop popping up when you close them, so I just have to right click and push close on the bottom toolbar button fast enough where it freezes up and let's me end the program...
And on top of that, I can't just reformat my computer because about 2 weeks ago my CD-ROM drive stopped working, so if I click "My Computer" it doesn't even show the CD-drive as an option to click and CD's won't run...
OKay, so now, could anyone help me get rid of this stupid virus??!!??!! It's making me so mad because I don't know what to do...and I've tried doing the windows troubleshoot for the CD-ROM and that doesn't work, then I tried updating the driver and it sais the driver is fine...
