I use Avira free and it works great.

But every other Day it pups up a window to Upgrade.

And I look all over the window and there is no Tab for Don't Show This Again.
So how do I stop this Ad?
 
Does the window ask you to upgrade from Avira Free to Avira Paid?
Or Update the Databse?
If it prompts for updating the data base then there must be an option in the anti-virus's settings.
And if it is about the upgrade to the paid version then I do not think there would be a way to turn it of except switching Anti-Virus's

You can try Microsoft Security Essentials. :D Free and has no paid version, so no need to worry about the prompts.
 
Moved to appropriate forum section.

From a quick Google search you can disable it,Problem been is users reporting that when the program updates itself again the annoying upgrade nag screen will re-appear until you disable it manually again.

I would just remove it and install Avast or MSE like mentioned,No annoying nag screens all the time and they are both good free software.

But it asks me to register and tells me after 30 Days its up.
Is avast free if not can you give me a direct link to the FREE avast File?
 
You need to register Avast every year to get the free updates. If you don't register, then it doesn't update and keeps nagging you. Avast is a very good program.

Yes with Avast just register and you wont get any more nagging for another year and will still be free like mentioned.
