virus help

I had Comando for anti virus program but it was to hard to get it to scan say diferant drives and so on.

So I got Avast but you always have to re register and it needs me to enter a Lisens Key.

It is free and I don't have any key.

Is there one more virus program I can try that is free I did have AVG and it was good but it always asked me to upgrade???

Avast doesn't need a key if you are using the free version and you only have to reregister once a year. Download this version of avast, most likely you downloaded the wrong one.

Get avg, they got rid of the upgrade thing, I think. Also get malwarebytes and runa scan every few days. I had avast, but it didn't protect enough. Now I have AVG. We also install AVG in the companies we support. The ones that can buy the full version, buy it; and the ones that don't want to sue the free version. If we have a virus issue we boot into safe mode with malwarebytes and remove that.
