Virus Protection

I use my PC primarily for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The rest for paying bills and online surfing. I'm looking for an effective , light weight and reasonably priced anti-virus. I currently use AVG Anti- Virus ( free version ) AVG Tune Up 2014 ( Paid Version ). Thank you

You'll be safe enough with Free softwares as long as you don't go on downloading websites and porn or whatnot...

I personally use Avast (free) and Malwarebyte Antimalware. That's good enough, never had a single virus in over 5 years... I would choose Avast over AVG though.

I also use Avast (free) and malwarebytes. I can't remember when I had a virus. It's been to long.:)

You won't get viruses if you're smart and have a decent anti-virus. Even if you don't have an anti-virus but you're smart then you shouldn't get any.

Avast or Bitdefender and run the addon NoScript for Firefox. If you chose to use NoScript then allow base 2nd level domains by default to lessen the cumbersomeness. I too play Flight Simulator. My install is 26 GB. LOL
