Vista and it's memory usage

I'm bored at work, so, using the computers we're selling, I've decided to check out how much ram vista uses depending on how much ram you have available. Heres what I've found out:

1. 4GB of ram Vista Premium x64 - 994MB used
2. 3GB of ram Vista Premium x86 - 703MB used
3. 2GB of ram Vista Basic x86 - 506MB used
4. 1GB of ram Vista Premium x86 - 480MB used
5. 512MB of ram Vista Basic x86 - 302MB used

I dunno, kind of useless information(and kind of inaccurate due to startup programs and such are all at factory defaults) but I thought it was interesting anyway.

Interesting. I know my gf's acer with vista basic has 1GB of RAM, and it could use another one...

Yeah, at least 2gb is good for vista to run optimally.

2gb is so cheap nowadays though.. you might as well go for 4gb.
