So my system specs are pretty high, 2gb of ram, a64 3500, DFI LanParty NF4 sli DR, and a Radeon X800GT 128mb. I used to have Source run on all high, with 2xaa, 2xaf, color correction and HDR on, and I would get about 60 frames per second, constant. Now, ever since i've upgraded to Vista, i still get good framerates, but it is REALLY glitchy, I can't awp at all, and it's generally unplayable, that's how bad it is. Now, I disabled window transparancey, nothing. I had been using the driver that Vista had installed for it, (version 7. something), so I went onto ATI's site and got the newest 32 bit Vista driver (version 8 something) Now, when I try to install it, I have to remove the old driver first, but as soon as I do that, Vista starts searching for the old driver online and installs it before I can install the new one.
