Vista compatable softwares

are there lot's of programs which ran on windows xp and don't run
on 32 vista?

in particular I am interested if ms word 2003, acrobat pro, roxio easy cd creator 9, photoshop cs9 will run on windows vista 32.

is this a big issue or all old programs will run on vista 32.

The only way to really find out at this time is to try it yourself to see it will run. Not including the beta versions Vista is the new "talk of the town" where some things may work quite well still while others will see problems. This is also true when going from 2000 to XP where some things need 2K. Yet B's Recorder 5 GOLD used on 98SE runs well on an XP system. When enough people have tried different softwares on the new OS over time then you will hear more of what it does or no longer supports.
