Vista desktop view. Help

My son has been playing with my laptop whilst i was out of the room and he has somehow changed the aspect of my screen. It is now vertical not the normal horizontal. I have tried almost everything.

Please help
 
Was it the aspect or aspect ratio? Apparently besides the usual desktop advanced display settings seen in Windows the laptop has it's own adjustments for the lcd display itself. Sometimes the manufacturer's support site's faq section can be a help if you don't find anything in the user guide/manual that came with the unit.

Right click on the desktop and see if a Nvidia/ATI/SIS/VIA or Intel control panel is listed, if so click on it and when it opens look for something like Rotate Display
