Vista doesnt like my RAM?

So I had a ton of trouble getting my system to boot up in the first place, Finally I discovered that if I removed all but 2 gigs of RAM, the comp booted up fine.

I was reading some posts about people having a similar problem, and they recommended running with 2 gigs of RAM, installing the mobo drivers and then installing the additional RAM. This isnt working for me though. Any more than 2 gigs of RAM and I get the BSOD while windows is booting up.

Is it ok to add RAM while windows is running? Anyone ever had this problem or know a solution?

i tried to install this update and it said "the update does not apply to your system"

Are you suffering from the same problem as above?

Also whats OS is yours (32 or 64bit)?
