Vista for my desktop

I have Vista running on my laptop but I want to get Vista Ultimate for my desktop so it can store all of my Digital Media Files and I want it running vista. In my signature you can see the basic specs. How do you think that will run Vista comapred to my laptop? Should I get 1 GB more of RAM?
 
i think that it will run just fine with 1 gb although you might exeprence acationally slow downs but it will most likly run as well as the laptop
 
I've ran vista on my desktop with a GB of RAN and it worked fine. It might be a good idea to get one more because I was using release candidate 2, not the full version. And also, Vista will be relying on your video card a good bit. What card do you have now?
