vista how to set up user account please help

when i set my new pc with vista for the first time how do i open a user account and do i need to open an administrators account or not bother please advise and if i do need an administrator account how would i set that up,im the only person that uses my pc so maybe i dont need to?

when you install vista, you'll see a screen that asks you for a user-name, and password. this account will be the administrator.
