Vista in Virtual PC

Hi,
Can I run Windows Vista in Virtual PC, with 1gb RAM, 200GB HDD, P4 CPU, 256MB GC?

You could do but it'll be very slow; you'll need all of the 1GB in Vista really to make it run at a decent speed,

Aye, I have Vista on my replacement laptop with a Core Duo and it runs no faster than my Turion single core on XP!

i run Vista on Virtual machine and give it 600Mb of ram and it runs fine...obviusly not as fast if it had all the memory and GFX power but it runs ok.

I have vista installed in VMWare and the performance is decent. It's emulated GPU doesn't support Aero, but all the base functions work just fine.

Not that you should be worried though, since you already own Vista. But there's your source for a price inflation.
