My rig did a wobbly and I took it to a computer store to have it fixed. They installed a newer version of WinXP for me. Trouble is....after my first download from Microsoft, when I tried another it gave me a msg my WinXP might be a forgery, etc. So when I took it back for a fix...it now gives me the same garbage after a download. My question is....to those who have had the Beta versopm of Vista to work out bugs or whatever....when I buy the new Vista Pro for which I just added two gigs of Corsair Ram...which it recommends...am I going to be able to use the upgrade or will I have to purchase the full version, do a clean format, and reinstall. This is time consuming, so I am open to any help, I just do not want any surprises or misfortunes by getting the wrong version.... tks in advance....fw

WinXP Pro Serv pack2
MSI 865PE MB
INtel Pentium 4 2.80Ghz
