vista on laptop??

my display is huge right now and i cant seem to figure out how to get it to be smaller. ive went into display settings and theres only too options. BIG and BIGGER.lol. is there any other way that i can change this to get it smaller???
 
You don't have the correct drivers for your video card. Download and install the correct drivers in order to run a higher resolution.
 
i downloaded the drive from acer but it says it is for xp. it will not install on my computer it just stays at 0% and ive left it for about an hour and nothing happened. should there be another driver somewhere out there or am i pretty much stuck since i have vista??
 
there should be a vista driver. Find out what kind of video card it is and google "vista driver (insert video card name here)"
