Vista question.

Hello guys, long time since I last visited. Anyway I am thinking of buying a Laptop for my parents. They play Scrabble on the computer and I am not sure if the software will work with Vista. I just wanted to know if the software will be compatible with the Vista OS? If not do any work arounds exist?

That would be hard to guess without knowing the exact software.

The game manufacturers website should say if it supports Vista.

Such simple games can be easily run in compatible mode.
Right click on the shortcut or the game.exe. Under the compablity tab, select, "run this program in compablity mode for", and select "XP service pack 2".

This should work for many programs which cant be run by vista.

Or else go for vista supported scrabble here.

Thanks for telling me about Compatibility mode, I will try using that first. If that doesn't work I guess I can just buy a copy that runs on Vista, now that I know they make a version compatible with Vista.
