Vista RAM Usage

I have windows vista Ultimate and it use too much of RAM (From 2GB 65% is used). Programs running in system tray are Skype, Nokia PC suite, daemon tools, AVG antivirus (free), and windows sidebar. I try to disable services and visual effects but nothing works. I can't play my games because they twitch. Sorry for language.

That does seem a bit high, most ive seen use about 1 gb at idle. Can you do a fresh install, there might be a memory leak in one of those programs you listed...

Well, that's pretty much what Vista does. It's a huge resource hog, and for some reason the more RAM you have; the more RAM it uses. When you're gaming try turning off the stuff like sidebar, avg, skype, even explorer if it's really that bad. You could also try looking for some memory management programs online like 'MemoryTurbo4' or something like that.
