My computer came with a partitioned hard drive with Windows vista home basic on the partition.

Problem is the computer caught some sort of bug and it needs a fresh install of vista on it.

I cant seem to find information on the windows website on how to order a replacement disk.I have the product key on the back of the computer for install but no disk.

Some help a brother out/??

What kind of computer? Most companies put a program on the pc so you can make your own recovery disks. Or you can call them and give them info and they will send you the disks.

i think he mean the recovery disks, basicaly the same thing except they are tied to only your computer. i had recovery disks for my comp, but then i switched out the mobo, which called for a reinstall, and i popped in my recovery disks, and it didnt work. i might of downloaded the iso of Bt.:P

You can not do a fresh install with the recovery disks!!! Just do a full system restore as i suggested. That will bring it back to the way it was when you got it. It is just like rerformating!!
