vista running xp on Paralells network issue

I am setting up a virtual xp using Paralells to run any old stuff that vista doesn't like, but i cannot get the internet to work on the virtual xp. If anyone has experience running xp in vista, some helpful tips on internet setup would be great.
I have made sure the virtual machine network adapter is set to bridge my wireless adapter. My network usage show me sending packets, but can't load pages, or anything else requiring a network connection.
 
Its free but doesnt support usb so if there is anything you need to do that requires usb then i wouldnt reccomend it
 
I am running vista home premium with virtual xp pro, does virtual pc support that. I thought virtual pc required xp pro or vista ultimate as the primary, but i might be wrong.
