Vista service pk 2 trouble

I read the posts aout the trouble with the downloads, but my pc is stuck at Step 3 of 3 at 60% and will not do anything. It won't even start up in safe mode???

Any ideas besides shooting the MFer??

Is this the computer in your signature?

Did you kill the computer while it was installing the service pack?

If it's the computer in your signature, I would put XP back on it,
or per your latter suggestion, just shoot it.
