Vista Sleep Mode

Vista Ultimate x64 Sleep mode I seem to have a issue with it.

Every 3 times I go to sleep mode without a system reboot I always lose the ability to use my mouse forcing me to restart.

Any ideas as to why it happens like clock work @ 3 times? Any way to fix it? Mouse and Keyboard are USB.

thats really weird that it happens every three times. for me it is just random but frequent video signal loss .

In the Home Premium 32bit edition I've been running into that at times while right in the middle of a game or app. Suddenly it will lock where using the task manager to logoff won't free up the cursor either forcing the use of the reset button. I suspect the video drivers are responsible since Windows was just reinstalled here lately and are likely being made inactive for you there coming out of standby.

I guess its just a default issue then.

Shame I thought I could save some power ^-^ I don't mind leaving it on 24/7 though.

Here I generally leave everything to never and simply shutdown everything when I'm going to gone for any lengthy period of time. Then nothing but the ac adapter used to charge batteries in the cordless head phones is using any electricity plus allowing a cool down period.

Usually whenever a new version of Windows comes being that Vista is recent while seeing it's first service pack it takes time to work out all bugs and especially driver sets that actually work well for various hardwares and devices. I will say that Vista 64 is seeing far better 3rd party support then it's 2005 predecessor XP Pro 64! You could call that ME II since it sadly lacked support.
