Is that exactly like the Vista Start bar?

Doesn't it get annoying have to scroll through 'All Programs'?

very easy to use after a few minutes. you dont really need to use that anyways thats what the search bar is for.

The start bar in the link I gave at the top uses 19,652K memory when open, is this a lot, acceptable?

Will I notice a slow down in my PC's performance at all?

This is unbelievable! You were the one wanting Vista themes for XP and one look at Vista scares you? That's the new look if you want it! If you don't you can always experiment with the classic themes and settings to have a normal desktop again. Afterall the All Programs is all programs installed.

I don't think 19mb of memory is going to be any big problem for you there when you are running 2gb of Corsair. It's when you start having a large number of little things creeping in that you see system slowdowns. That's when the msconfig utility starts seeing more use.
