Vista updates

Hello people. I have a vista computer. Lately I can't shut down the computer. It'll freeze when it's updating, and it does this EVERY time. I can't update manually either, because then it'll just keep on tryinging to update forever!

That's just about it. Anyone have suggestions on what to do?

Yes.Completely turn off the updates!Updates usually screw up the computer.This is what happens when you are updating your computer with bunch of updates that your computer doesnt need at all...Turn off the updates completely and in the future install ONLY THOSE updates which you need in order to make some programs or games to work,otherwise DO NOT UPDATE YOUR COMPUTER WITH BUNCH OF CRAP YOU DONT NEED LOL.

As for the OS service packs ---> SP1 and SP2,feel free to install them,but do not install any other unneccessary updates.
