I bought a Sony Vaio a few years back when Vista was just released. My laptop came with Win XP installed, but was Vista ready. I ordered the discs to upgrade to Vista but after reading a few articles, I decided to stick with Win XP.
My question is, will these discs work on any Laptop - or only my specific Vaio because I'm looking to sell them as I have no use for them.
The 3 discs read:
- Windows Vista Home Premium Express Upgrade
- Drivers Disc
- Applications disc
All discs say Sony Vaio on them and 'For use only as an upgrade to a qualifying Sony PC'. Does this mean they can be used on any Vista ready Sony computer, or just my model?
