vista upgrade?

i am running xp pro right now. is it worth the upgrade to vista in anybodys oppinion? also, would i have to uninstall xp then install vista, or how would be the best aproach at that? also, is it better to get oem or retail?

Its your choice finally.One of my friend upgraded to a vista beta version and it took him nearly 4 hours to do the upgrade.REAL.its strange though, then it failed to boot..thank god he backed up his data before doing so.he then installed it fresh and it worked.Go for OEM..honestly i dont like vista dunno why.Will stick to xp and opensuse in the meantime.

If you do upgrade, go for OEM, but to me, there's not much of a need to upgrade to vista now, it's just a flashier version of XP, sure it may be more secure, but think about if you really need it right now. I'm sticking with XP for at least another 4 to 6 months before I ugrade. I'm happy with XP for now.
