Vista + XP = Help!

I have XP on my C drive, and Vista on my D drive. XP is set up so that my documents and settings are all on the D drive, so when I installed Vista it moved them all to a Windows.old folder, and I can't access the new documents and settings folder outside of vista.
How can I make the documents and settings folder accessible outside of Vista, OR how can I make XP look for my documents and settings in a different folder?

Never mind.

I found the place in the registry that controls where explorer looks for your documents and settings junk.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Softwar\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

I just changed the values from "%USERPROFILE%\My Documents" or "...\Desktop" to "D:\Documents and Settings XP\%username%\My Documents" etc...
Then I just moved my old files to the new directory using Vista, but I still don't know how to access the "Documents and Settings" folder (in Vista, "User") outside of using Vista.
