I need to know how to shut down the part of vista that pops up all the time when installing a new program that says Allow/not allow.

How do I do that?

That would be VISTA's User Account Contrl, which is easy to turn off..

yeah its a pain in the ass,whenever i do a fresh install i always disable that at first boot.

i think in windows 7 Microsoft are improving User Account Contrl so its not so paranoid.

I disable it via msconfig. You can disable it several different ways.
