I doubt it seeing as Vista uses a lot of memory so i would'nt recommend it as it would be quite slow with that processor.

i used to run vista on a Pentium dual core 1.8ghz with 2gb of ram and it was smooth. i think it would run fine, not perfect, but definitely usable.

You coooould consider Vista Home Basic, but make sure you've got the backup XP CD close.

it would run, it might run bad though.. I dont have a benchmark on an atom processer... but I know it can run p4.

Im not a big vista fan.. it uses a lot of memory... id stick to xp or try windows 7 beta

I don't think it will be a very enjoyable experience. My buddy just got one
with XP on it, with 1Gig of RAM, and even that runs like a turd.

I'd wait till the Win 7 RC comes out on the 5th.

It will run, but without Aero. And still a bit sluggish at that.

My Dell Latitude X300 runs vista business fine with no aero. It has a 1.2 gig intel p4 mobile and 1 gig of ram. It runs fairly quickly, faster than you'd expect.
