While the software is no good while having worked on XP the HP drivers on the disk are still recognised by Vista long enough to see it list the device in the DM. That was seen on a smaller Deskjet 3520 usb model there. In most cases the generic drivers included with Windows will also work at times. You just won't have access to the software configurations.
