What Version of Vista does everybody think i should get?

Ultimate - $349.95
Home Premium - $199.95

This is Aus Dollars.

I dont really want too spend $350 On a Operating System...

What Differences/Additions does Ultimate Versoin have over Home Premium?

(Just Saying its "better" Doesnt Count)

Are those retail? I know in the US that Vista Ultimate costs like $400 in stores, but you can buy it for $200 on Newegg. Are there any online sites that have it cheaper?

Either way you go, make sure you go with 64-Bit.
 
Here we go again with another vista thread.... Just go out and look on the net. Ultimate has things like IIS and the media center while home premium does not have the media center and a few of the extras...
 
home premium does have media center its home basic that doesn't
ultimant has a everything all the others have it combines home and office all in one
theres a couple visual things added a drive locking tool diffrent downloads and stuff along the lines of that
if you have a use for it all get ultiman if not home premium has alot of great fetures also dosent have so downloads and stuff like ultimant but its nice

IMO, there are to many bugs left in Vista for now. I would go with XP for now then up grade to Vista in 6 months,after they make a few patches and the service packs,which will be out soon.:rolleyes:
 
yeah a few updates came along that fixed my problems but like Wizle said theres still alot of bugs just wait a few months
 
i would suggest linux, lol. But i would'nt suggest upgrading because all you get is a new skin one or two effects and a slower computer, and a couple of compatability issues and DRM. Some people even say XP is better than vista.
