Vlans with Netgear FS728TS

Hi there,

I have a domain network and wishing to have an open access wireless setup,

Would it be possible to setup a VLAN so that the wireless users and on a differnet subnet to the server

server is on 192.168.1.*

i am plaining on having the wireless users on 192.168.0.*

Is this possible without letting the wireless users have access to the server or see the server

Also i want both VLANS pointing to the same router if possible

Please can anyone let me know if this is possible to do and maybe give me some tips?

You are going to have to buy manageable switches or routers that support third party firmware like dd-wrt

I have a netgear FS728TS that is managed but i need some advice if this will work?

and maybe some tips if people have made vlans before as im new at making vlans

You can set certain ports to dish out certain dhcp ranges, yes it is possible I am not familiar with your switch though
