VLC Artifacting when playing DVDs

I just got the latest version of VLC (.92 maybe .93) but whenever I use it to play back dvds, there are artifacts all over the screen...cant even see the picture.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Specs are in sig.

you have latest codec pack installed?

Umm...how do I do that?

All i did was download and install VLC.

Try googling k-lite codec pack..

It's like all codecs in one pack..

Hopefully that can clear up your issue.

Got it but it didnt fix VLC.

It did come with media player classic which worked for playing dvds but Id really rather use VLC. Thanks for the temporary solution.

I actually dont use either one so I'm afraid I'm outta ideas.

No problem, thanks for the help so far. This'll work for tonight. What do you use to watch dvds?

To everyone else, do you want a screenshot ofthe problem or do you know what im talkin about?

i think you dont have the right codec for the latest one..
