VMWare vs VirtualBox

VMware what? Workstation? Player? What are you tying to do? Do you want to pay or not?

'Better' is relative, but in my opinion, I prefer VMware. VMware Player is free.

I'm trying to run Ubuntu on a windows 7 machine. VMware player is the free one, so that's what I mean. Basically, I'm just wondering what people prefer.

I use and like them both. Doubt you would be dissatisfied with either.

I think VMware has more features but either is fine. I use VirtualBox for my own OS testing.

I use VirtualBox for most of my stuff but use VMWare Workstation at school (so I can easily network the VM's together).

I think ill use virtualbox for now, because I've used it before. I might try out vmware eventually though, because of it's features. Thanks for the suggestions.
