VOB is MPG help

I know they make DVDs with VOB files and if the VOB Files are not Encrypted you can re name them MPG and they still work.

So this tells me VOB and MPG are almost the same file type.

And I know that DVDs are encoded with MPEG2 so why turn them into VOB?

I read all Documents on this and I just findout that they use MPEG2 because it gives good video picture.

But not how they get it to turn into VOB Files.

Can you tell me in your own words??

You need DVD authoring software. Go to VideoHelp.com.
That site has all the information on DVD software and a forum if you need more help.

The vob files are just the standard that has been adopted by the Video industry, probably because it can be copy protected if needed.
