Voice/Data modem stuck in rotary dial mode

I just recently formatted my HD and reinstalled everything. My modem for some reason, is in rotary dial mode and for the life of me, I can't find where to change it to touch-tone. It used to be set that way by default. Now I can't change it. For those of you who don't know what rotary mode is, think of your grandparents phone whith the round dial with holes in front of each number and the numbers going from 1 to 0 counter clockwise...it makes a clicking noise for each number it dials..where as touch tone is just a tone....

I have a Dell Dimension 8400 with a Conexant D850 56k V.9x DFVc Modem installed.....
 
It's been at least 1 year since I've delt with a modem issue. In your modem options you should have a check box to set tone dialing. Besure this is checked.
