I have a built in Mic on my laptop, and I would like it to Play, Pause, Stop, and Next/Previous Song on command using my voice.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

If such software existed, I'm not saying it does or it doesn't. I'm sure you would have trouble using other commands while music is on..

maybe a voice recognition could override that...and saying certain words would only activate it, like saying "skip song" or "play artist" or something like that.

Well they have that feature in some cars now I think about it, so I'm sure it's possible for a PC then.. Maybe a WINAMP plugin?

Didn't mention my reason. When I am on the Xbox, I like to listen to music off my laptop, and its hard to click the button thats next to the trackpad. And I dont mind occasionally saying 'Play, Pause, Next, Back or Stop' while gaming.

This would appear to be what I am looking for: http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/148315.

You can use the Voice Recognition software built into Vista with Windows Media Player and say commands like Previous, Next, Pause, Play, ect. and it works fairly well.
