Hello
I would like to know if i overclock my videocard, will it void my warranty?
I have a G-force FX 5500 PCI 256 MB videocard (nvidea) and i got with it a lifetime warranty. I feel like overclocking it, but i don't want to losoe my warranty.
any ideas?

Chris

i think if you used over voltage, yes you will void the warranty, but i'm not sure
somebody correct me if i'm wrong

if you overclock at all, the warranty goes poof. they could not tell if you just change it in coolbits, but the warranty is voided.

o, so i guess not only the warranty is Poof, but almost my idea of overcloking.
ok, wlel thx guys, question answered.

Heh, yea, OC will definitly void the warranty. I am also just curios as to how that FX 5500 holds up in games?

i like it, works very good, but i'm not like a huge gammer! but their is a differnce is graphics and speed. Yup, i surely don't hate it! Like you cant expect the best out of it, but i play very well the game 'TM Nations' racing game! i want to try someNeed for speed soon.... FX 5500, i'm lovin' it
lol
