^ you have that wrong, you meen for the price its better than building one, but for the quality its not better than a self built. Big box companies like Dell may seem cheaper but really use cheap parts and sometimes aren't even upgradable, so even though you may be paying less, int he future you may pay more...

ammm... I mean build it myself have better quaility, but more expensive price...
did I read the question wrongly?
 
if your just getting online,surfing the net,and really dont care or want to upgrade it..get the vostro... if you wanna overclock,play games ext....build your own
