Vsta to XP for free

Hi, is there anyway i can downgrade from vista to XP for free?

I almost sure the answer to that is no, because you would have to first purchase XP. but I'm not 100%.

Not unless your computer manufacturer offers a free downgrade like Dell occasionally does.

If you installed Vista yourself, then no. You have to buy XP.

Unfortunately not, some might say going from Vista to XP is upgrading

Stick with Vista, plus, atleast from what I have noticed, the prices for each are about the same if not more for xp. Whats crazy is if you want to buy another Vista license from Microsoft so that you dont need more cds/dvds to put it on another computer the price is only about $20 less then retail. I considered doing this since I have the media and we wanted to put Vista on my dads computer.
