well, I'm OCing and I got to a point where when i boot up it doesn't post, well Lowered and lowered the speed and still it happens. I have to wait about 10-60 seconds after turning it off to turn it back on. It stays overclock and then works fine, but that should not happen. I have tried upping the voltage on the RAM by .1V the CPU @ 2.75GHz, I lowered the RAM timing, and the thing is, I'm back at speeds I KNOW worked fine. This makes no sense! HELP! Should I try to add .1V to the PCI-E?
 
F10. I have had no problems with any of the BIOS's, starting from F2 and onwards. But I update mine because there were other controls/features added in the newer ones.

Anyway, if I recall correctly, I have Rev. 1 of the board, whereas you have Rev. 2 of the board, so there are bound to be differences...
 
Yeah, going back to F7, not a good idea at all. Computer won't boot, cant change back because of that. Shit! that's not good. I had a feeling of this because this was my original and that's why I couldnt get over 2.4GHz. Man if I didn't have bad luck I would have any luck at all...
 
just reset the CMOS jumper and go from there

what motherboard do you have and what CPU? because i just got a sick OC with my biostar and easy OC options
 
well it will will start up now cuz i used a jumper, had to find one somewhere in the confines of my basement. Lucky me, or not so lucky. It wont post...

PS. this is really ticking me off. I just went from unstable OC to completely useless junk somehow worth $950...great...I knew F7 was a bad idea. Guess I was just looking for a miracle, didn't stop to think that it could be a course in disguise...crap. Stupid F7...

Please help! I'm gunna have a freakin nervous breakdown! I dont want to have waisted $950 because of the stupid BIOS! Rambo, those people on the links you gave dont know %$^#!!!!!!!!!!!! How in the world do they think that F7 does good??? Its go to be the worst one out of all of them! Stupid Uneducated morons from the evil demonic link!!! I knew I shouldn't have trusted them, I KNEW IT!.........well, I feel a little better now that I blew off some steam, but pissed none the less. God, I need a miracle now. Please help! any help will do...well, any help that is worth hearing anyway...
 
did you clear the CMOS??????

jeez you are phycho, i had a 25% OC last night and had these same problems at first, reseting the CMOS did just the trick. i had to do it 6 times i think before i found the right OC formula
 
stock there is no jumper. They made it like that so you could never mess up when doing the jumper. You put it in then take it out. No moving over. And like I said, it boots up but no post!
 
no jumper? thats really important to have one... id take it off then and maybe pull out the mobo battery for a while
 
did that. when I say no jumper, I mean there are only 2 pins, stock there is no jumper on it. To reset CMOS just put a jumper on it, hold power button for a few seconds, take off jumper and there you go. Sadly, it didnt go for me.
