Hi!
I have a problem.
My pc can't find my videocard.
so instead, my monitor runs on the videochip of my motherboard with an HDMI cable (wich is connected through the back of my pc instead of through the videocard).
It has always worked but since 3 days ago this problem suddenly occured.

If I connect my pc with my monitor through the videocard i get a black screen.

I've installed the newest driver but it had no use.

I have the Nvidia Geforce 8800GT, but dxdiag and device manager now day i use the Geforce 7100/nForce 630i (wich is the motherboard videochip).

can anyone help me fix the problem so I can use my videocard again?

Do you have another PCI-E slot that you could try and switch the card to? If not, I would try taking out the 8800GT, rebooting, and then try installing it again.

Try your 8800GT on a different PCI-E computer and get another PCI-E video card to your motherboard to see if the slot isn't damaged.
