Yes

That's a decent overclock for a Sempron. I would be sattisfied. As to the above post, a bit more maturity would be welcome.

sorry abou that im just pretty psyched since my computer camn with like the cheapest proccesor AMD makes... 2400+

What temp is it running at if its running pritty cool then yes i would consider it a nice oc. You voltage is pritty high though.

41 c stock cooler and 50ish on 30 minute 100% load... and very stable i can run it at 100% load and do all my multi taskin at the same time... so is this cosidered a good overclock... and what do u think i have now like a 2700?

Heya

That's a very good OC. The Vcore is fine for a socket A "Thoroughbred B" Sempron if you ask me. You now have something with the performance of the Socket A Sempron 3000+.

No problem, I was referring to COYOTE's post ;)

I never get good OC's....I t hink I'm going to give you the job of Ocing my Semperon 3100+ 754 when i get it haha.

Ya if i rause the FSB just one more to 216 the i completly get screwed up and starts to crash when running stress tests... If i get better cooler can i get to 2.20HGz because thats what im shooting for?

Hmm

I would say just leave it. It's good as it is and you say your current OC is stable. You could need to increase Vcore for more and better cooling could help in keeping it stable. However, overclocking is all about testing it out. Just make sure you do not take it too far for it to handle.

Are we cure that its your cpu holding you at 215 core clock? You ram is clocking at 430 at that speed and if cheap could be the cause of you hold back.

Better cooling is only going to factor in, if you are hacking up the vcore.

on the bios under the clock speed changer (fsb) there's an option that says cpu/dram frequency the there's 3 ratios... 3:2 6:5 and 1:1 i'm currently at 6:5 if i selected another ratio could i overclock to 2.20??? P.S ( i'm using the phoenix award bios) the one with the little blue bird lol) v 6.0 i think
