I bought a new HDD, I have w8 ms Disk, how to Install w8 on it?

You boot to the install cd and follow the prompts.

You could probably also use that key to activate w10 if you used the media creation tool to make a bootable USB drive

So are you saying you already have a drive in the system with linux on it? Do you want to dual boot windows and linux or get rid of linux totally and use only windows?

You will need to use a bootable software that can delete the partitions on that drive with Linux on it since windows can't recognize Linux partitions. Then it's just a matter of booting to the windows install CD and install windows. Easeus utility will do that among many others.
