OvenMaster VIP Member Oct 18, 2006 #3 In XP Home, if you right-click on the slave drive in My Computer and click Properties, there's a Quota tab where you can set limits on others' access to the drive. This should work if they're logged on to the machine in a name other than yours. Tom

pdc76 New Member Oct 18, 2006 #4 or get an external drive. just disconnect it and hide it from them when you're not using it.
