I would like to install xp on a fresh computer that I am putting together. These are my resources: I have 2 laptops running xp: one came with no disks and the other came with xp recovery disks. They are both equiped with cd burners. Thanks.
 
To enable to do a fresh install of your OS. You will need a full OS installation disk. Now with the recovery disk that will be assigned to that machines devices. So if you attempt to use the recovery media on a completly different system then you are then going to have to get the drivers for the devices. Which can be sometimes difficult to find and time consuming.
 
I see, so your telling me there's a chance. That's outstanding. I really didn't feel like blowin my wad on an OS before Christmas. Thanks dude.
