Hi all..
Please bear with me as I am new here... Hi
Anyways.. I've got about $1k-1100 for a gaming system that I'd like to build. I'm not sure if I want to go with AMD or Intel... I was told for gaming on an Intel chipset to go with an I-5 or I-7 and either an ASUS or Gigabyte board. I've been a fan of AMD since forever now... However, again, i'm not sure if I want to go AMD or Intel. I know AMD is cheaper.. and used to be a better chip than Intel awhile back. I'm not sure which is a good gaming chipset now a days for AMD.
Now, I've built 2 systems of my own, but they were just for every day use.. and this was about 10-12 yrs ago. So I've been out of the computer component loop for awhile and things have changed considerably since. So my system has to be able to run games such as Dead Space 3 and Sim City.
Soo if you smart guys can enlighten me and point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it!!
Thanks!!
Lisa
