alot of places do this, think of how many people are pre ordering, and how many they can purchase at one time. did you pay anything extra for the pre order? if so email the problem and they should sort it out.

Like 2 years ago or something, I went to a Electronics Boutique, and pre-ordered Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. Then I went like a day or two after the day it was supposed to be there, and they still didn't have it, but next week they did. Sometimes they just have unexpected delays I guess..
