Water Cooling Gone Bad!

Whats up guys i have not posted in about a month and a half.. You know why... Because one day from coming home from work my water cooling system leaked all over the place in side my case all over my sli'ed 6800GTS everything... I DO NOT KNOW WHY! the heatsink for the water cooling system had a big crack in it?! How it got there i have no clue..OUT OF NO WHERE!

I dont know guys this just sucks i spend so much money on my comp and this sh!!!t has to happin.... so now my 6800gts are shot they do not work any more and my liquid cooling is gone..."IM NEVER GONNA GO LIQUID AGAIN"

So now im on this powerful comp with a carppy card im using a Geforce MX 4000 HAHA i cant play crap now all i can do is make my desktop look nice with the Digital Vibrance...

Has anyone else ever gone threw some bad comp problems...?

well that just sucks..
but the crack might have been come due to immense heat on 1 side, and cold on the other side.

however,.. youre shure the 6800gt's are shot? i mean.. was the comp turned on when the leaking began?
 
Yes it was turned on... because i leave it on when i go to work....

And my screen saver was on the screen and it was not moving i was like OMMM this aint right...

and thats when i noticed the tubes of liquid all empty...

Yea i think they are shot because when i plug em in the fans do not power on at all.. somtimes they do for a second but then turn right off it sucks man i wanna play games to but cant with this peace of crap card
 
when the grafics fan's stop, keeps the CPU Fan spinning?

because.. when i bought my pc, i had a RMA on the mobo, because the pc wouldnt turn on. ( you hit the pwr button, the fans run 1 sec, and stop again)
 
so the CPU fan keeps spinning?
(my Fan's were spinning for a sec, and then when you try again, the fans do nothing. when i swiched off the power, the Fans runned again for a sec, and the next try nothing. so the Fan's only spinned the first time when the power was turned on again)

but, do you have a option to test the cards in a other pc?
 
well.. the warranty voids when you remove the stock cooling.
but on the other side.. that heatsing souldnt be able to crack.. :/

all i can do it wish you the best of luck.

well.. thats what i call odd.. then i wouldrather think its a bios/firmware problem.. but its still weird.. :/

have you used original water for your cooling? isnt that stuff isolating? ( so a non-conductor? ) because when the heatsink on the CPU broke.. the CPU bured out.. only that alone will cause the screen to freeze.. so if the fluid doesnt conduct.. you still have the chane hair alright.

Dude the 3d mark scores seem alot more important to you than most other things. It's FYI an extremely vague way of telling a machines ability to handle gaming.

High res gamer I assume? If your not running SLI just for the scores. ;)

This btw is a great opportunity to get yourself a nice 78GT/X. :)
 
just rma the suckers, they wont know they got wet. Just looks a little suspect that you are rma'ing both of the them for the same reason.
 
just rma and get yourself a 7800 gtx im sure you would get away with it most people do anyway post back to see what happend in the next chapter of your story
 
yea ima ship them back and get one 7800GTX boy this sucks i have alot of games and cant play jack.. wish me luck on the rma's
 
wow, u have a lot of money, im a poor ass boy

hmm, is the sLi system good? does it have to be watercooled because it heats to much or is it because u just like the water cooling? I'v always wanted water cooling :(
 
you dont need to have it water cooled it fine with its heatsink i love watercooling to if youve allways wanted one y dont you try save up a bit and get one i recon they actually ad a lot of wow factor to your kit
