water cooling question

I want to water cool my gaming machine so I can overclock. I just had one question though. Has anyone that has used watercooling ever had a leak?

I haven't got to water cooling setups or even air conditioned pc cases as of yet. But I do catch word on occasional problems when they are not setup correctly. Some have reported having wet cases when something let go. But that may have been some in a rush to throw it together. Others have reported spending a good night installing one to get everything in properly. But anything that contains water can see possible water leaks. It's kind of like having a leaky faucet where you thought you shut it off completely and then... ?

thnx for the advice. I guess I will just get a better cpu cooler and vga coolers and see how i can oc with that

The water cooling setups have worked out for several as well as hearing odd reports on some seeing leaks. If you are careful there you could see a fairly good end result. But there's always that one possible drawback. Currently I'm watching temps on the cpu+board here that should be lower with a Zalman cpu cooler seeing 42C idle upto 48C gaming with the board running higher at 44C idle to 51C peaks during a gaming run. I could have gone with an Arctic cooling setup as well. For a look at some 3rd party alternatives to stock cooling browse a couple of links here.
